@Busy-Lizzie Thankyou so much, most people in the valley use decking as the hills are impossible. Second pic down is a Cosmos called "Klondyke" if anyone fancies something other than pinks, that goes from lemons to deep oranges.
The whole truth is an instrument that can only be played by an expert.
Thank you very much @Fran IOM, that's very kind of you. Thank you very much too @Valley Gardener, your garden is a delight and what a stunning location!
@Plantminded. Didn't imagine you had yet more to show us! Your garden must cover a large area. So well thought out instead of my haphazard planting in the hope that something is going to grow! A lovely place to go to destress. Looks like there have been long hours of hard work. It certainly paid off.
Thank you @Fran IOM, the garden looks bigger than it is when photographed (like those estate agents' photographs!), but enough to keep me busy! It's just about under control now after a determined effort to reduce the invasion of Spanish bluebells - I'm sure there'll be some returning next year!
@punkdoc Nice pics of your garden, thanks! Not so often we get pics of Macleaya cordata on this forum. I planted one specimen about 20 years ago, at the foot of a wall and it has now travelled more than 6 meters along that wall, heading South! A most interesting plant.
