The cherries have mostly gone over, but this one, taller than my house, is just peaking. Way, way too big for the small garden, but stunning against the blue sky.
Nice "rockery", @Woodgreen Is that a specimen of Sedum spathulifolium 'Purpureum' I can spot on it? I've got one in a container and it keeps going year after year...
Wallflowers and tulips in the front garden. Second year for the tulips, we planted them deeply in the hope that they would return for at least one more year, and it seems to have worked.
Other than this we still can only enjoy the glut of daffodils of all kinds and some violets filling up every crevice available (I’ve been working on dividing them and tucking into cracks of retaining wall last year so feels great to see the results)
Variety of color through different types of same plant is best I can do for this time of the year with deer in the garden haha

@Papi Jo, Yes I think it is that sedum. It's been growing there on the drystone boundary wall for well over twenty years.
Elsewhere in the garden this one does the same, grows happily on the vertical face of a drystone terrace wall. I believe this is sedum spathulifolium 'Cape Blanco.' it started out at the top, on the level but has made its own way over the face of the wall. Bits drop off or birds sometimes disturb pieces but it just carries on regardless.
Yesterday whilst the rest of the country had beautiful weather, here in Cornwall it rained and was about 13°C. Today heavy mist but this afternoon it cleared and suddenly the Camassias and Azalea are looking very happy. It must be all that rain we had earlier this year.
