More mundane rtbc here, boiler repaired this morning and working properly. Just in time for winter and huge gas bills.

Do you remember where I've left the key?
the cleaner should have been last week, if not, excuse the mess.
help yourself to anything in the freezer. There are 2 sea bass fillets in there you might like.

    Have a great time@Liriodendron.

RTBC?  Our new shower was delivered yesterday and Possum and I destroyed New York.   The last owners had done a full wall mural of a 60s NY black and white photo showing the river and skyline and framed it with a band of red paint in what is now a guest bedroom.   It had stopped being amusing.

Oh dear Obelixx, that makes me squirm. I once painted a whole bathroom wall with a mural of Sydney Harbour Bridge after we'd come back from Oz. I don't think it's still there though. I bet the new owners couldn't wait to paint over it.

However, the previous owners had painted red skirting boards and yellow radiators which was pretty awful. I guess most owners don't like what they inherit.

We love our new shower - can't understand why we waited so long to replace the old one.
