Lovely here too @Uff. Not even windy today - just a nice breeze. Lovely jubbly  :)
I even decided to sow a few sweet peas  in the optimistic hope that it'll be decent enough to plant them out a bit earlier  ;)
New varieties I've chosen too - I know how to live.... :D

Bright sunshine here too.  Hopefully get out for a walk later and see how far the hip behaves.  I'm on the list for hip replacement but been told that's likely to be 18 months yet!  No way can I afford to go private.

I had washing out yesterday @Dovefromabove - extra pegs on, just in case.  ;)
I looked out early afternoon, and thought there was a 'space' on one side. I was sure every bit of line had been filled, so I asked daughter if she'd taken anything off when I'd been out. No.
Had a look round but couldn't see anything that had got blown away and was still on the 'plot'.
If it's gone anywhere, it'll be the pond.... :D

I used to give blood many moons ago but because I was so tiny, only allowed to give half a pint at a time. After several years I happened to mention I always had severe bruising on my arm  afterwards and was advised to give up. Such a shame. OH was also a blood donor for many years.

    Happy news @pansyface.

I used to give blood too, when I was younger and slimmer, but I used to feel faint afterwards and they wouldn't let me leave until I could stand up and walk around without going wobbly and green about the gills. One time they were packing up around me at the end of the session, and it was suggested (politely) that perhaps I should give up. No-one suggested only giving half a pint at a time. My body mass is quite a bit more now so maybe I should try again.

  • My RTBC is that our son, DIL and 2 grandsons are visiting us from York over Easter.  It'll be the first time we've met this little charmer:

    - can't wait to give him a cuddle!   :)

RTBC I was out for a hike in the sunshine and 5 miles in came across a bucket on the wall full of Jersey Lilly bulbs with a sign saying " Free, help your self" . There must have been at least a hundred. I took 5.

I see RHS are selling 1 bulb at £4.99. Hmmmm... should I go back and grab the lot and sell them on Ebay lol.... :D

Saw a peacock butterfly flitting about when I went down to see the chooks and the chimonanthus is a-buzz with bees.
