We have exactly the same problem and I wasn't sure whetherto post in RTBC or Curmudgeon.  Currently 22 outside, 25 in our lounge and 28 in the bedrooms.  The windows are all open but there is no breeze.
set up a fan just inside the window, blowing out and it'll blow the warm air out, drawing cold air in downstairs

Thanks @Hostafan1 we don't have any fans, but we are now getting an occasional breeze.  As I'm back home we have all the windows open and temperature in the house is dropping slowly.
I was chatting to a neighbour earlier and he was saying the same about his house, which is identical to ours, built in the late 1930s.  He also said it was lovely now that the temperature has dropped to the high 50s F.  He was shocked when I told him that it was actually 72F.  Temperatures are definitely a comparative thing.  I put long trousers on when I went out because I was feeling cold.  Very soon started to regret that and I'm now back in shorts.

Dressing off my new knee and stitches out.

It's Belgian national day so Possum, who has dual nationality, wanted steak frites.  I don't eat or cook steak frites so OH and I took her to a good steak and burger restaurant and then I managed to do the SM run with them.   Good workout.

Cheerful.  Well, I will be eventually. I'm adding at least two foot in width along the length of a long flower bed. Unfortunately, it involves hacking back overgrown ivy which I hope is not holding up next door's fence. I hope he takes the hint and does the top again as he's got one of those long trimmer efforts. . Several interesting varieties along with the usual suspect. I bet I can guess which one will be dominant.

Had my hair cut Tuesday, and both my girls like it. the downside is, when it was shoulder length I could just wash it twice a week and leave to dry. The front is white. We got a car got the Kia Sportage in the end. Part exchanged hubbies, just got to sell my Astra now.

Ok,then,I'm fussy though,he's very good with all things electrical mechanical, technologies. A few years ago,I worked a night with a very nice agency nurse, then I went to Boots for my flu jab. Got up to the nurse, she said ", I remember you,you said you only kept your husband because he was good in bed",that was several years later. It's correct,I did, I was saying he drove me nuts leaving drawers/cupboard doors open, however,he was worth keeping!!!

Not tempted to exchange hubbies with you then, Nanny Beach. Mine also scores well in the same categories, but also leaves drawers and cupboards open, so no advantage swapping!
    like the hair cut!
