    Well done you.

Mine isn't as good, but I spent 5 hours cutting the grass, lawn mower parked in garage, came indoors and the heavens opened. Phew.
    Devon.
  • That's a Garden Win @Hostafan1! We got the greenhouse stripped and home just before the 40mph winds hit.

It's raining, and looks as if it might be set in for a couple of hours . First proper rain here for about 3 weeks.

🤣 @Hostafan1 Where've you been?  Roland Garros started in mid-May ... since then we've had Queens, Eastbourne and Northampton ... all building up to the start of Wimbledon today ... I've been watching live tennis almost every day for over a month  B)  Brilliant fun!

Glastonbury and its ilk provide two members of my family with their daily bread ... student niece works part-time for a security firm, and son works for a company providing all sorts of vehicles and equipment to the entertainment and motor racing industries  ... they've both been working their socks off for Glasto ... son and many of his colleagues went without enough income to meet their bills for two years ... so, while there may be some disturbance for those living locally for a week or so ... as far as I'm concerned ... thank heavens for Glastonbury and Wimbledon ... two reasons to be cheerful  :D

Maybe we could have some blanket coverage of Glyndebourne, Garsington, Grange park opera, The Grange festival , just in the name of balance of course?

Well, there's a whole summer of the Proms coming up ... and then we get Cardiff Singer of the World, and the Young Musician thingummy, and the radio'll be full of Aldeburgh shortly ...
