Evening. Hope the poorlies are feeling better today.

    Happy Birthday @Allotment Boy 🎂

Did a charity shop run today - took a few bits and came away with two jigsaws and a lovely top from a brand I love - £6 all in and hopefully what I took will make at least that. It’s for our local hospice so I try to support them.

Happy Birthday @Alotment Boy the trip to the GC and the buying of the seeds  for future produce sounds like a good way to spend the day.
Had quite a good night last night with the dogs, just one stint at around 9'30 but after that they were dead to the world until daughter got up at 3'30. I do actually think the full moon started it all as someone suggested. Will see what happens at the next full moon!
Love your little skinks @PatE never would have realised that they liked grated carrot.
Hope those with pain problems will feel better tomorrow. Night all sleep well.

Just nipping in before bed to say to @WonkyWomble that "Inside Health" on Radio 4 today was looking at promising new treatments for Sickle Cell condition... might be available to listen again perhaps?

Hope @Allotment Boy has had a happy day.   :)

Morning everyone and Happy Birthday to those I missed 🤭

Regarding the skinks - they are an endangered species, so we are happy that they have settled into our place. They are very nervous around people, and don’t threaten at all (unlike snakes), and they like being under the deep freezer in the back area. I think it offers them a bit of warmth in our cold winters.

I’m still thinking about doing the washing since there is rain predicted over the next few days, but can’t have the washing machine going until Hubby drags himself out and makes his toast etc. Makes it a bit late to get them on the line, but luckily we are in for another hot clear day. 🙄

Im over my grumpy mood. We’ve watched Michael for years, but yesterday’s episodes were along the east coast from northern Queensland to mid NSW and what he was told about the mistreatment of aboriginals in the early days of British settlement is an issue that isn’t a good thing to keep bringing up. None of us alive now could help those attitudes in the 1700s. 😡. He also had some info that was wrong. Der!

Dove, I meant to say that BusyL has a jigsaw on line with a lovely photo of Cromer. Really enjoyed doing the puzzle yesterday. (Coincides that you were visiting on the day I did the puzzle.) 👏👏

  • Hello @Pat E

Hope you get the washing sorted. It would freeze if we put it out on a line here, despite the sunshine. 😅

Is there a link to the jigsaw? I can't sleep, might be something that would help....

Jigsaw planet and search for Cromer. I think that will do it.  Also her symbol is a lovely pink flower.

Washing machine burbling away, sun out. Ho hum!  May I’ll sit on the eastern verandah and play with a colouring book and my watercolour pallet. 😁
