Good morning everyone. Such exciting news for @Hostafan, hope all goes well for Mum and baby. More lovely pictures @PatE thank you, hope that you are feeling ok after your vaccine yesterday. Very icy here this morning so take care everyone if you are out and about. Off to get my second cuppa - catch you all later.

Off to Dunelm yet again. I ordered some curtains on line, and took OH with me to collect them, having warned him that I wasn’t sure if the colour was right. It wasn’t, and neither of us liked them, so cancelled the purchase. We had a look round and saw a set we both liked ( that’s an achievement in itself! ) but more expensive. However, I managed to convince myself that they were worth the extra.
Very pleased to get to the till and find they were 20% off! However, despite my calculations, one window needs wider curtains, hence a second trip to swap them. Luckily, they’ve been put aside to click and collect, so when OH finally wakes up, and has been fed, we’ll head to the Donkey Sanctuary first for a walk in the sun. Will need to wrap up well, only 2C here at the moment.
Best wishes @Hostafan1, for a safe arrival.

Exciting news @Hostafan1 …..hope everything goes well.  The wee one will soon have a cousin to play with 👶🏼👶🏼

Very frosty here, but looks like a nice day on its way.  Lots of admin to clear this morning, but then I might curl up on the sofa later with a pile of gardening mags.

    Beautiful photos @Pat E …..those pokers are spectacular ❤️🧡❤️

Morning all, Lovely news @Hostafan1, I see in the first cloud picture @Pat E a larger dog with a small one along side, good to get the rain. Very frosty again -4 deg, better go and fill the bird feeders again. Have to order another cage for the second ground feeder as a neighbours cat keeps eating the seeds and meal worms.
How are you progressing @tui34 with your injuries?
Catch up with all later, stay safe.  B)

    Good morning all.

    That's a lovely rainbow photo @Pat E.

Exciting news @Hostafan1, I hope it all goes smoothly. I love babies.

Another frost and sunshine. I hope it warms up enough this afternoon for me to do some gardening. I still have 7 roses to plant out in the old veg garden, the special offer ones that were a bit small that I bought last spring. The 3 new yellow ones are OK for a bit as they are in pots. Grapevine to prune.

Thank you for your kind thought @floralies   Gradually getting much better but turning over at night is proving to be a pain!!

Am sitting here outside in the sunshine on a bench - bit cold on the old bunkiaydo, but pleasant.  Temperature a balmy 3°C.  Waiting for my korma concoction to come to the boil.  Cauliflower, sweet potato, carrots and squash ready to go in.  Smells good.

    Any news @Hostafan1 ?

Did Wordle in 2 this morning - only because I put in a word which had three letters in the right order - just a fluke - usually it's 4 or 5 goes and many many pieces of paper with scribblings!!

    Better than yesterday's effort!

    How exciting @Hostafan1!

So much news this morning @tui34!  No sympathy for Djokovic - get the vaccine! Or for the erstwhile Prince Andrew - stop exploiting girls!  Or for the govt. - stop breaking the rules!   But it does give me faith that wrongdoing doesn't go unpunished (on the whole) whereas what is still happening in America with Trump supporters and toadies in the Republican party takes gaslighting to a whole new level.

Thinking about @punkdoc and hoping the black dog isn't biting too hard.
