Remained beautifully sunny all day and even warmed up. My new kitchen cupboard doors look all nice and shiny white, OH's nephew did a lovely job and then stayed for lunch. My trousers I'd ordered online were delivered early - and they fit! Yesssss! So I ordered another pair while I can still get them, especially on special offer. I spent a couple of hours raking up very wet leaves from the maple which is just outside our boundary, the leaf bin is now full although there are still more leaves to collect. It's a very large tree. I'd completely forgotten that I'd planted daffodils underneath on the verge outside and the leaves were swamping them. The daffs look rather sickly pale but I'm sure they'll soon perk up now they can see the light.
I daren't get started on Wordle, I waste enough time just browsing on here as it is.
Hello ... we've been out in the sunshine ....... we drove down to Southwold Harbour ... bought some fish (two huge pieces of cod that we've just eaten for supper), a big piece of line-caught skate (enough for four big meals) two fillets of plaice (plus one more for free 'cos he didn't want to be left with just the one fillet) and two pieces of salmon. Then a walk along the muddy harbour (there were a couple of very high tides the other day) taking photos and a drive along the sea front then home though the sunny countryside. A lovely day.

I wish I lived near the coast. I'm glad you have enjoyed the day @Dove. I had a pleasant stroll around our local park, said hello to friendly dog walkers. It was sunny and bright- fair lifts one's spirits when we get days like these in Winter.
I went to the big plant nursery today to see if their roses were in yet. They were. A young woman told me they had just been potting up bare root roses in the huge polytunnel and they were on offer for 12€ and 20€ for climbers but the price would be going up. I found David Austin and Meilland roses there. I wanted yellow roses so I bought Graham Thomas and Golden Celebration shrub roses for 12€ each and a short climber, Happiness for 20€. They look good strong plants. I looked up the prices of David Austin bare root roses on line - £19.50! Well pleased
On the way home I stopped for diesel. The pump showed 54€ but it didn't show on the cash register so couldn't use my card. The man had a look at the pump then said I might as well have it free as there was no record of it!
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Wondering if people have seen in the newspapers about dogs getting ill after they've visited beaches on the North East coast? Owners are being warned not to take your dog to the beach.
We're hoping to have a day out at Hunstanton tomorrow, and we're looking forward having fish 'n' chips on the sea front, accompanied by our hound. We'll make enquiries when we get there to see if dogs are safe on the Norfolk beaches.
Wow @Busy-Lizzie - what a good day you've had! We enjoyed our trip to Hunstanton when we stayed in Snettisham just before lockdown @Jenny_Aster. West Norfolk is not as Chelseafied as N.Norfolk but you can get everywhere really easily.

May your roses grow well for you.
