Morning all, we had a hard frost overnight which looked very pretty in the sunshine this morning. Walked down to the shop very carefully with the grippers on my shoes.
Nephew is here, bless him, busy redoing some of my kitchen cabinet doors. He's a very fine carpenter/craftsman specializing in green oak structures and hand made wooden kitchens so I'm  a bit embarrassed about my Ikea jobby!
Hope you feel better soon DD, sinus pain is the pits.
We loved the winter garden at Hilliers @chicky, I'm sure you'll enjoy your trip.
Have a good day all and keep safe in these icy conditions.

    Pow!  It's a knockout! @Pat E
Completely floored by Wordle today.  Ended up putting a word I knew it wasn't in the final spot just to find out what it was.  Then that 'doh' moment.
Not much going on garden-wise with me, despite bright sunny day.  But my new cardigan arrived today - it's a lovely shade of green.  Does that count?

Hi everyone. I hope your day is going well.
May I ask if Wordle is addictive? Everyone seems to be talking about/doing this puzzle and I fear I'll spend all my time doing it!

I've avoided it for that very reason janetfoss  :D I'm trying to get back into photography so I don't want any more distractions, the forum is bad enough, in the nicest possible way of course.

@janetfoss    There's only one puzzle posted per day.  Unless...... well @Dovefromabove can tell you about her idea!

The sun is over the yardarm and it has been a splendid sunny bright, but cold day.  Some pruning - gently - walking with dog and relaxing.

    Have a good evening.

  • You were right @tui34 it did eventually turn into a sunny afternoon, but unfortunately not until after the low winter sun had passed over my terrace, so all I got was the biting cold. Oh well the sun gets a bit higher every day, my time will come.

i gave in and loaded the dreaded game… must be missing something, are there any instructions? Do I just out in anything I feel like? Yes I’m easily confused.

  • @Jacquimcmahon I tried to load it, thought I was doing something wrong and didn't go back to it. Probably a good job, as I've had lots of medical visits to do for hub. However, hopefully, I may have a day 'off' tomorrow, so should I try it again?
    Probably not.

It is addictive but there is only one per day UNLESS you go to wordmaster....
I've just wasted the whole afternoon doing 19 in a row

Oh dear @Dovefromabove!  But I like that we only get one a day on the main one and we are all doing the same one!
Done nothing but project planning today.  The problem with me being in the mood to progress plans and ideas doesn't necessarily coincide with others who are too busy having an actual life to respond to my emails immediately!
