Morning Dove and Jacqui, I’m suffering from the headache that my GP said to expect from yesterday’s vaccine shot. At least it’s not a surprise.

im used to big skies Jacqui. 🙄. Hopefully yours will clear up soon

    Greetings Forkers!!

-3.5°C here this morning and a nice frost laid out for us.  Bright sun here @Jacquimcmahon and I think you are due for a nice day in Paris too.  Patience!

Hello @Pat E   See you're having some warm weather!  50°C in Onslow!!  Luckily it's well on the other side of you.  Do you get the high humidity? I hope your headache goes away fairly soon.   Not fun in the heat.   My friend in Melbourne says it's more hell for the leper state after lockdown.  Can't win.

@Busy-Lizzie   Are you feeling a bit better today?

Haven't done Wordle yet - will wait for the morning coffee time.  Got to get a few things done first - at least.

    Enjoy your day.

Morning all. I see the bottom half of a frog looking under a cloud Pat.
Poor you DD, sinus pain is dreadful. Are you putting your head over bowls of steaming water to ease it?

Morning all. Very frosty here and we also seem to have a thick fog surrounding us - can see the tree tops on the next hill just peeping through the mist, looks as though there is a huge lake out there between us and those far trees. Sorry @PatE but I really cant see anything in todays beautiful cloud view, hope your headache eases soon for you. Glad to hear that you are feeling better @Busy-Lizzie, any more news yet about your possible trip back to Norfolk? Jacqui how do you find the electric cars are as far as noise is concerned? I mean can folk hear you coming, it bothers me that they are so silent?? Well we had a bit of a problem here, just got our water supply back on yesterday evening after 24 hours due to a burst somewhere down near the village from the night before. Managed to dig out a bottle of water from our supplies to make tea throughout the day and daughter took two containers down one of our nearest fields to fill up at the water trough to help keep the loos flushed - thank goodness we keep animals lol! All back to normal now though except the 'spitting' coming from all the taps as the air makes its way though the pipes - does make you jump when it happens.
Take care those of you who need to be out and about today if you have this fog and possible ice on the ground.

Looking at today's cloud picture @Pat E  ... I can see two snowmen holding hands and flying across the sky ... like in the film The Snowman. ☃☃

OH is getting ready to cycle into the city for a dental appointment ... I've offered to drive him as it's so cold but he says cycling will be quicker and he's probably right.  Then I'm considering whether to, when he gets back, drive down to the Suffolk coast and pick some fish up from the S'wold harbour ..........  I shall have a coffee and ponder on that ... and start on a Sainsbugs order for next week ...

    Good morning all.

Sunny with a big frost today.

Tummy was back to normal yesterday, thanks @tui34.

Read my book in bed for a bit this morning, wanted the stove to warm up the kitchen before I went down for breakfast. I get up, light the stove and make coffee to take upstairs.

Plumber should have come this morning to fit the new bath but he's coming next week. He had Covid so his timetable got mucked up.

Morning 😎. Frosty, blue skies and sunshine here.  We are going to make the most of it and visit the winter garden at Hilliers.  Have wanted to visit for a while, and the Gardeners’ World winter specials reminded me.  No visits to the cafe though- we’ll take our own coffee ☕️

0C here this morning. I woke during the night and took a look out, clear sky and loads of stars. Sunny and bright this morning, don’t know whether to brave a run to the seaside or maybe the Donkey Sanctuary, but despite the cold, it gets incredibly crowded in Sidmouth. We popped down yesterday, expecting it to be peaceful with the kids back at school, but it was packed out. Lots of jobs to do here anyway, but we do need some exercise.
Haven’t given in to the temptation to try wordle yet, but it’s just a matter of time! I always pick up a free copy of the Times in Waitrose, recycle the news bit( too depressing these days ), and save the three pages of puzzles, handy to unwind at bedtime.
