Failed on Wordle today.  Foxed by the American spelling.

I got there @didyw ... but only because someone on the food forum had said to include US spellings ... otherwise I think I'd have given up ...

  • Hi all,

Full to cold today and feeling very sorry for myself. Had to work the lunchtime shift and deal with a broken dishwasher, part now on the way from Italy...🙄

Managed Wordle having realised only possible option was American spelling, took all 6 chances though.

Desperately feel the need for cake, or something sweet, but have nothing at home and can't face going out again, strange for me, I don't often eat cake believe it or not. Anyone got anything they can throw in my direction? 😅

Poor you @D0rdogne_Damsel … take your pick … we have two chocolate oranges and half a lemon meringue pie  … or I could send over some wholemeal toast and local honey … help yourself

Back from Daughter's. We did painting, she did her landing walls and I painted 2 bedroom doors. We also had lunch and a good chat.

Hope she’s feeling better for a bit of maternal tlc @Busy-Lizzie 🤗
Are you feeling completely recovered now?

    Evening. Hope all is well.

Cold but some sun today - classic January. Looks like will remain pretty dry for the next 10 days, which is good as my grass is quite soggy. I’m itching to start the Spring tidy-up of spent perennials etc but will leave it a bit longer it all gives some frost protection and hiding places for insects etc.

    Keep warm and safe everyone.
