I also have a fern that planted itself in a pot with my butterwort that has only ever know being constantly wet so I’ve planted that a little higher behind the flat rock, to hopefully keep the crown dry and the roots nice and wet!
Really like that pond, looks great! I'm going to start digging out my own son, how deep did you make it in the middle? And how wide are your shelves?
It’s 50-60cm in the middle (deepest point) one shelf was about 30cm wide and the other was closer to 20cm - sorry I didn’t measure them I eyeballed it!
@Latimer if you have a rough idea of what plants you want and how you want to do it (like square or curved baskets or a particular stone) then measure those bits so you know how big you nee
Replaced the waterbutts with slim ones and assembled the second compost bin! Really pleased with how it’s looking now, just need some rain to fill up the butts! I’ve moved the old ones round the side so I’m not losing any rainwater storage!
Attempted to put the post for a rotary washing line in the ground (as per instructions, with a hammer!) and of course found with our rubbish dump of a garden we couldn’t get it in, so hole is being dug to concrete it in, found some treasure
