It might be really pleasant as perhaps none of your friends have been able to get away. I woke up a few times, usually don't sleep well when there is a full moon. It's frosty again today but I think the sun is coming out, unlike yesterday.
Think I mentioned that Son 2 rang yesterday, his 4yr old son had tested positive for Covid. His school contacted them as there was Covid in his class. I was with them for lunch on Sunday so I have to have a Covid test too. DIL had given me one as I hadn't been able to buy them, run out. I told our local district nurse, who is English, and she said she'd come round and do a PCR. She thought I shouldn't be out hunting for tests around town. As I've had 3 vaccinations the lab testing is free. French NHS.

There are far worse things you could be doing Biglad! I didn't realise that PCR tests had to be paid for Busy, but I'm glad you have managed to get sorted for your peace of mind.
