I’ve been to Rubees for a cuppa. I’m back to spend time with Alfie. He’s been playing on his throw, it’s covered in snowflakes. It has snowed overnight.

Good afternoon everyone. Hope you have all had a lovely Boxing Day - does sound like it. My day has been busy with the writing of 'thank yous' to all my friends and family who bought me gifts, catching up with one of my Quiz friends who has been in hospital since last Thursday - nothing to do with Covid.
Chive, my sis got it from A**i. It is slightly lighter than a traditional Christmas pudding and when it was tipped out it looked lovely as it is covered in edible gold. It also made a great show when the brandy was flamed over it.
Ruby and RosieBB I am so jealous that you had a snowfall - I would have loved some!
Hazel, I fell asleep trying to watch Mezzotint but I have recorded it and will watch it when I am more awake so no spoilers please

LB I’ve been for two walks today, one was early to test out my boots on the snow before having breakfast tea with Rubee and one after lunch to get some fresh air and I saw two squirrels. It’s not as quiet as yesterday though. I’ve had two large meals in two days. I’ve just had a baked roll for tea as I’m feeling quite full. I hope you’ve all had a good day.
@Songbird-1 M&S and a few other stores.....think they announced it in October.......they weren't opening this year on Boxing day to give all their assistants etc a day off.

My 'sco is open tomorrow at 09:00 if I fancied going there at all. Maybe the lure of a possible bargain could tempt me. Who knows. I'll see how I feel tomorrow.
