Chive, I have had a lovely day with Bestie. There was lots of sleet and snow earlier and was bitterly cold. We started one of our new year's resolutions today by taking our wardrobe gleanings to the nearby Sue Ryder shop. There were some beautiful things on display in there. I could have spent a fortune. That is week 1 done so more stuff to find for next week. I helped Bestie by unpicking some of her knitting where she had made a mistake - she is (self confessed) not as patient as I am but as I could do that and natter at the same time I was happy to get it sorted.
Good to see you Hazel, I did wonder where you were yesterday. Hope you get your new router soon.
RosieBB, I think Lily very sensibly stayed indoors and slept.
Biglad, my bin was emptied today and when I arrived home from my Bestie's the bin was in the middle of my neighbour's drive for a change. Soon replaced that and my neighbour's bin in their correct positions.
Yvie, glad you have managed to get a replacement for the freezer and you don't have to wait too long either.

I had a nice, peaceful day. Snow stopped, but it's still very cold and windy. I done some small things in the house (nothing for Col TT😁), and I placed order for 100 sweet potato seedlings. So, altogether nice day. I hope that you all are well and on warm. It's time for my last cup.
LB I'm glad you had a good matter with bestie. I need to do the same thing with some of my clothes. Chive Alfies already retired to bed. Ante I do like sweet potatoes, very healthy too. Hazel I hope you're back on line now. Goodnight everyone.
