  • Lily enjoy your time with the poppets.  Hazel I hope you and oh have a relaxing day before doing the unit.  I've slept for hours this morning.
  • Son has just texted ... his PCR was negative ... that proves the precautions they're taking at the testing centres work, if he was working with someone who tested positive.

    Afternoon all.

Dove, I'm glad that your son's test is negative.

SGL, have a nice time with poppets.

I came home from the last walk this year. It was very nice and pleasant walk. Rest of the day I'll be home with book, cake and mulled wine.
Here is few photos from today's walk.

  • Thank you for your kind thoughts @Ante30 ... and for sharing such beautiful photographs.

By the way, there's a new poster seeking advice about growing fruit and vegetables in Croatia ... I wonder whether you would like to offer some help

May have forgotten to say this morning - DIL, who I saw at Daughter 2's on Tuesday,  sent a message to say her 2 sisters who she saw over the Christmas weekend had tested positive. Son and DIL were waiting for their test results.

Sorry RosieBB, I totally missed your comment about feeling dizzy. I wonder if the lack of a decent night's sleep is contributing to that? I have to admit that having clean hair is a really positive thing when you are a bit out of sorts. Try not to overdo things today.
Chive, the Cres was flooded yesterday but it has all drained away.
I wrote this earlier and forgot to post it - d'oh!

I will try and remember to push the 'post' button  this time!
SGL, I hope that you have had a magical, merry time with the Poppets today.
Hazel, you could have left building the shelving unit until next year!  I'll bet your OH is itching to get all his books put on the shelves.
Ante, as ever your pictures are absolutely stunning. I love the way that you have captured the reflection of the sun in the water, and what a beautiful sky! Speaking of which, we had a wonderful red sky this evening and that means we might get a decent start to 2022 tomorrow.

Thanks LB, especially for those hairy cups😁. I have to say I have my own hair, but it’s not as thick as it used to be.😥
