I too love photobooks. Compiled one (I think with Photobox) for my husband last year showing what a year it was, starting with a trip away at the beginning of the year and the walks we went on while our bathroom was being done, returning to it not finished then lockdown and having an incomplete bathroom for ages, getting stuck into the garden, husband's hair getting too long and the weird haircut he got from me...
Well this thread seems to be slowing down so here's another shot from my keen period. Had to wade into the river to get anywhere near this gorgeous male Banded Demoiselle.
Clay soil - Cheshire/Derbyshire border. I play with plants and soil and sometimes it's successful
As per Victor, this isn't the shot I was thinking of sharing. I haven't dug that one out of a cuboard yet. But these are shots I was so excited about getting a few years ago at Knepp. I have a little Canon bridge camera with no mighty zoom. I spent hours in a field trying to take pictures of buzzards. They swooped down lower and lower and I managed to catch a few pictures with detail. The birds are so genuinely Wild - in every sense. Technically it's no great picture, but I love the viscious beak and the details of the feathers. And it reminds me of happy summer days at Knepp - I had to pass up two bookings there last year.
