I rarely choose favourites but I do have a set of pictures I use for rotating wallpaper on the pc and this one one of them. They are all good ones or mean something to me but this particular one was taken on my phone in passing and came out rather well. Moved away from The Forest now but its a reminder. PS. Its a Larch..
This was the day that I collected Wee Uff and brought him home. He squawked all the way home but that night I didn't hear a peep out of him. Heavens he was cute and got cuter but the murderous thoughts were yet to come.
@Uff, you have to tell us why you felt so murderous...
Well, it would take a whole thread to tell you why but suffice to say that Wee Uff finds life so joyous, fun, and interesting that he has no notion of the trouble he causes to my purse and his own life and limb, quite literally and his inquisitiveness know no bounds.
Another shaggy dog story - a fond memory rather than a best photo..
28th July 2017, the day 5-yr old Bill (left) arrived from Andalucia to be a companion to our older dog. We had no idea if he would settle or if Sandra would accept him. He stepped out of the courier’s van (once disentangled from the parcels) totally at ease and it was love at first sight for all concerned. He is incredibly affectionate and slotted right into the family as if he’d always been with us. Sandra loves bossing him around and he adoringly follows her everywhere:
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.
