I'd like to invite you to share your 'best photograph' - great, not necessarily in the sense of technical skill (though it might be) but a photo that maybe captures a moment; a natural expression; maybe a photo that still makes you laugh or it was just a lucky shot of a fleeting conjunction. I'd love to see.

I saw them as a kid rarely when we used to go stickleback hunting and it's the only one I've seen since.

This little chap came into my life at a very difficult and sad time. He was five weeks old when this picture was taken and not old enough to leave his mum. My grandaughter thought I needed a puppy, I wasn't so sure and it took me a long time to be sure that I did. He's a cocker spaniel and his name is Uff. He's nearly 7 years old now but only just because I could have murdered him several times.

Just a memory of my favourite holiday ever, to Botswana. Took some much better photos, but somehow this one just captures the place.
