Maybe he was driving her barmy @pansyface and she gave him a slap I have too many photos to pick just one. Most of the ones of my children at various stages, aren't digital, but I wouldn't really want to post photos of them anyway. Thousands of hill pix which, when I look at them, remind me of the day I had. I suppose this one is a good example The two 'Bookils' at the entrance to Glencoe, taken from the hill opposite. The sky changed from clear and bright, to a lou'ring snow filled one. All part of the experience
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
My absolute favourite in the whole of Scotland Fairygirl. Have driven past it hundreds of times and even typing this brings a lump to my throat because of the memories it evokes.
Stob Dearg, [the front end of the Big Bookil ] is the most photographed hill in Scotland @Uff - not Nevis, which is what most people tend to assume. It's proximity to the road is why it's so iconic, and admired. It adorns many a shortbread tin and calendar The view in the opposite direction from that spot - Mamores, Nevis range etc, is brilliant too. The sky looking that way, was stunning that day.
