Yes I have B3, I suspect you would be able to light your way to the car with it on a dark night.

    Pity I threw it away😕
I did apologise to the pig, though. It gave it's life for my degustation. What a waste.

Rest assured folks … I only use the best, locally smoked, outdoor reared, rare breed bacon in my baps 🥓 😇

Our record for stuck vans on our drive was 8 in the last year before we stopped them with the mighty Traffic Cone of Doom! It took 6 hours and 6 men to extract the final one and the quickest extraction took 2 hours. So much for "professional" drivers.

Today was the day for descaling the kettle and changing the filter in the water filter.  I use distilled vinegar to clean both vessels.  The kettle was coming along nicely and I was able to get the brush into the nooks and crannies when - crack!  I smashed the glass on the kettle from the inside.  Now having to drink tea with water boiled in a pan until we can get to the shop tomorrow for a new kettle.  Humph.

We've had to call out our farmer neighbour with his tractor on a few occasions to pull some muppet out of a ditch or hedge in our lane. It's most often because they are very reluctant to reverse and will try to turn when there very obviously isn't room to do so, and end up getting stuck sideways. Not helped by the really poor traction the long wheelbase transits seem to have - they slide all over the place. The SM delivery vans are the worst - we don't get our shopping delivered because the SM vans simply can't turn round, even though much bigger trucks with better tyres (Jewson deliveries) can manage it without a problem, and those things must be horrible to reverse any distance.

Oh dear, what a pain, @didyw. Judging by the funny smell coming from our toaster, we might be in the market for a new one of those before too long.
