Finally did the tree today we bought the Chinese decorations in Hong Kong on our honeymoon 25 years ago. They are made in silk and embroided so rather fragile I love them.
I'm having a full on creative Christmas. I'm hoping to print up a tablecloth over the next few days. At this time of year I traditionally make up cards for the rest of the year. These are my baubles:
One of the carers at The Home told me she has a bauble on her tree with 3 gold stars on it. One of the long term residents has the stars on his door for several years and when he died she took them off and put his date of birth on one, his name on one and the date he died on the 3rd and stuck then on a bauble which she's had on her tree every year since them
The best baubles are the ones with memories @Hostafan1, that's a lovely thing to do x
Thank you everyone for sharing your festive decorations with us. It really helped get the spirit going! Beautiful and individual creations every one! Merry Christmas to all...... ..... and to all a Good Night! 🎄☃️
Doris - short for Dostoyevsky - has her own silvery tree once more - still very 'glam' 20-odd years after she arrived from the Ukraine! The largely home-grown wreath as to 'live' indoors 'cos we're on a very windy corner!

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I love them.
