Thanks @Songbird-1... its actually a large hoole hoop wrapped in green tinsel and lights.... thought I'd get inventive 😎 It's where I sit and watch the birds on the feeders when I get in from work if its too cold outside!
@pitter-patter and @JessicaS: you’re setting standards of refinement that are hard to match.
The branch in my sitting room was harvested from my silver birch tree about six years ago. On twelfth night it gets bunged in the shed where spiders use it as an assault course for the next eleven months. Brushing off the cobwebs results in a loss of a few twigs every year.
Ah thank you @BenCotto I love your frosted fruits on your garland too. I love fairylights on the bookcases. Our dogs names are on the wooden hounds up there.
My kitchen has a sweet theme with gingerbread etc. I made the saltdough gingerbread men atop the cupboards and the embroidered 'chocolates' And a snowy theme in the hall with icicles and snowflakes.
There's a fig tree outside the patio doors. I think I might make the effort this year. No one will see it but us. Do I try for tastefully , minimalist appropriate or take pity on the tired old baubles rattling around in the bottom of decorations box? They remind me of ageing burlesque performers who maybe deserve one last outing before going to the retirement home.
Wow! Now we are in the festive mood!! Fabulous pictures @BenCotto, love the masked Santa bit like playing where's Wally? 👍 @JessicaS you really have put on a show!! Your whole house looks festive and really beautifully Christmasy

I’m hoping to make a wreath tomorrow and decorate the tree, so thank you all for sharing your lovely pictures.
My mantelpiece arrangement.
