Love it!! @Ergates 😀 last year I decorated the tree after having had one of my feline friends put to rest so my heart really wasn't in the festive spirit ... this year I'm making up for it!!! Renovated the basement,  log fire ungrounded with a twinkling Christmas tree!!
Did someone say mulled wine???? 😄

I haven't done mine yet (it won't be until at least the weekend of 12th/13th) but I saw an interesting one in a front garden down our road - looked like 3 long dahlia stakes or similar stuck in the ground in a pyramid with white lights wound all around and a lit star on top. Simple but very effective. I want to try and get a look in daylight to see how it was done.

We have the same in our local park. A tree is decorated every year.
