I think I have a slight cold, woke up coughing in the night and nose is runny. 2 yr old grandson has a cold and I saw him and played with him on Tuesday.
Today is decorations day, tree and Chapel. I will take down the chapel decorations after the service to use at home. Also I must finish the cards for people in France as I will see some of them at the Carol Service tomorrow.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
@Pat, ย that is the the most beautiful place to live, ย can you walk to those mountains? My cousin lives in Perth it always sees yellow dry and dusty.ย
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.ย
And in other news โฆโฆ(thought this deserved a post of its own) โฆ.
In December 2019 they found out my Dad had 12 brain tumours, 3 large ones and a selection of smaller ones, and told him he had a couple of months left at best (I was there at those appointments). ย They gave him the option of immunotherapy - but warned there was only a 25% chance of it working, and a 50% chance of side effects so severe that he would have to be hospitalised. ย He mulled it over and decided to give it a shot. ย Very luckily, he experienced only a few side effects, and they were mild. ย He has been having a dose of the stuff every month ever since. ย He spoke to his consultant yesterday, who said that ALL the tumours have now gone. ย And he can have his driving licence back (ironic as he sold his car six months ago).
We are all very thankful (understatement, but not sure I have the right superlatives to use atm). ย And sharing as Forkers have been on the journey with us. ย And also because happy endings like this are rare, but not impossibleโฆโฆand I wanted you all to know.โบ๏ธย

Lovely photos @Pat E
My cold seems to have returned and feeling generally crap again, starting to think it might be COVID, even though I keep testing negative.
Lovely sunny day here, but freezing, am going to try and catch a few rays.
