Daughter 2 and I have been shopping. Bought a load of kitchen equipment, mixer, saucepans, frying pans, cheese grater, knives etc as her ex had taken a lot. Lots of special offers but the best was a Shark Vacuum cleaner at 100โฌ off. Her Christmas presents from me. It was fun. Going to look for lamps tomorrow.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
That sounds great @Busy-Lizzie, has your daughter got to furnish an entire house? My ex and I divied up most stuff half and half and took turns to choose - quite civilised. I think my daughter has almost got her new rented property how she wants it now. She would like a particular picture for her bedroom so I've agreed to contribute towards that for her Xmas presie. It's a shame she's having trouble trying to sell the Edwardian dressing table I did up for her, nobody seems to want the old stuff any more.
It looks like I'll have to buy a set of new saucepans as well. I love my current set, stainless steel, glass lids with silicone covered handles but the handles on the lids keep coming off lately which is a nuisance.
Evening all!ย It's been a bit of a wet and blustery day here but I've been inside all day at a full day patch workshop.ย ย I have been learning paper piecing for a patchwork of 5 Santa Claus whilst also helping others with their felt Xmas tree decs, fabric and felt angels, fabric Xmas trees and so on.ย ย I draw the line at crochet reindeer!ย Busy day so, unusually for a Monday, we've had a glass of wine with dinner.ย ย Possum has gone to her swimming class so has dinner earlier.
Glad you've been able to see daughter 2 @Busy-Lizzie and hope she's OK and not too overwhelmed by all the changes going on and to come.ย Kids too.ย Maybe she should change the locks now.
My favourite pans are stainless steel with SS lids and handles and no rubber/silicone/whatever bits so they can go on the hob and in the oven with no bovver.
Possum grew taller than me when she was 13.ย I am not short for my age group at 169cm.ย She is the same height as her Pa at 180cms.
I found Shetland wandered a bit in the middle but had a good "twist" when they finally worked out whodunnit.ย ย Not keen on the cliffhanger tho.ย
Vendรฉe - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Mild here this morning with 7ยฐC and no wind so far - a high of 10ยฐC and sunny for this afternoon. ย
Nothing exciting planned for today except an exercise class with the Swiss Ball which will finalise my trial classes - then the choice!
@Busy-Lizzie Shopping is always good therapy, especially when it is for useful objects. ย Are the children coping? ย
An enjoyable to day to you all.
