AuntyRach, have you tried the puzzles on Jigsawplanet?  It keeps mt occupied when I’ve nothing important to do. 😁
I haven’t done an ‘electronic’ jigsaw for ages. They can be good, but I really love the pieces and sorting of a real one. I’m going to nip to local Hospice charity shop today, for Xmas cards, so I might swap a few jigsaws.

Have a good day all. Go easy, particularly those with stress and worry going on.

  • Hello, hope you are all ok, I am trapped making Christmas orders in my new basement kitchen.... love it really.

Charlie and I managed to do a sponsored walk together for Telethon on Saturday, 4 hours, great to be part of a community event. Just a bit chilly by the end. Our little town managed to raise nearly 5000€ though so it was a good effort by all.

I hope you get your MIL sorted @punkdoc and fabulous to see your little grandson @Hostafan1. Enjoy whilst he's small, look at the size of my little boy now....

    Good work @D0rdogne_Damsel :)

My two are fairly tall but won't ever have the luxury of looking down on me ;)

Was just contemplating making an online purchase. Ok, ok - I'd got as far as the checkout :o However, the sale prices suddenly changed on all the items and the increased cost made me come to my senses and abort!

    Morning all.

    Looks chilly and grey outside.

Hoping to go shopping with daughter this afternoon but her ex says he's coming round to pick up some of his stuff. I hope we have time for some retail therapy.

I enjoy Jigsaw Planet too. Haven't heard of that other one.

My son is 14” taller than me,  I look up to him, I know my place😀
Bright sunny day here, just a couple of sharp showers, OH been for a long walk.
been trying to clean windows inside but the seem to look smeary when the siphons in them.   Can’t buy Windolene anymore and the substitute is not so good.

Catching up with Shetland,  watched 2nd episode last night,  however are they going to pad it out over 6 episodes.

Hello all, a bit shell-shocked here, had just walked to village shop and back this morning when my dentist rang to say they had had a long appointment cancelled and would I like to go straight in to have an upper molar filling plus new crown. Crikey! Not psyched up for that. However I jumped in car, found a parking space much to my amazement fairly near and went. The worst thing was trying to get the ex-ray thingie inside my mouth and keeping it there without throwing up. However, it's all done now and I've had a temporary crown fitted with another appointment fixed for 21st Dec. I've managed some soup for lunch and am now cautiously slurping some coffee.

It's tipping down with rain so I'm staying put wrapped up warm in my recliner.

Glad someone's staying with your MIL @Punkdoc. Hopefully the weather will be over the worst by Thursday.

    Lovely photos @Dordogne_Damsel.

Oh yes they can @Lyn. I had to put sub-titles on in the end as I didn't want to miss a word they said.

I loved the latest Shetland, but did find myself getting quite confused at times.
