    Cannabis sweeties @philippasmith2
you can buy them from Boots for about a £1.00 a sweetie,  or in that posh shop H&B for almost double.
Or.....you can buy them from Amazon and god knows what they’ll contain😉

    Not really Cannabis.
CBD is the non psychoactive part of the drug.
Some people find it great for pain relief.
How can you lie there and think of England

  • Had a call on my mobile from someone doing a NHS survey as I answered the call the house phone rang which my wife answered, as I was talking on my mobile I could hear my wife giving the caller on the house phone some stick, the caller was asking to speak to "Mr Barry" (which isn't my surname), after concluding that the caller was trying it on she gave them short shrift to be sure and they eventually hung up on her. Over a week later and the house phone rang with a strange number so I picket it up and said "hello", there was the usual call centre silence and then a "lady" with a slight I would say Asian accent (maybe Philippians or Malayan with a touch of American) but perfect English spoke "Hello Mr Barry you Mother ****er" I was taken aback and somewhat shaken by the brazen attack, "EXCUSE ME" I said, "no I don't excuse you" she said, "excuse me but you really need help don't you" said I, she hung up. I don't know what she was selling but I for sure didn't want any of it, over the years when telling these telesales/scammers in no uncertain terms that "I'm not interested" I have received several calls of this nature as the call centre callers have obviously snapped after being rejected all day and decided to get their own back as they see it. Looking back on it a few days later I can smile about it now but it was a bit of a shock all the same I'm just glad that they didn't call in the middle of the night, maybe next time :# !
  • The media are warning that this week there will be millions of scam emails sent out so be careful who you give information to over the internet. Someone with an Indian accent phoned this morning telling me that my postcode had been selected to win a voucher, if I hadn't just been about to go shopping I would have humoured him but as it was I stopped him mid spiel and said that I wasn't interested and for him to "have a merry Christmas"! I think that my phone number must be in some amateur scammers phonebook the amount of calls that I'm getting just lately.

They operate in 'cycles' @barry island
We used to get them at work - loads for a week or two, then nothing for ages, then the same pattern.
We often used to humour them. Very entertaining.  Some of them didn't give up easily either. You could usually hear all the other call centre pals in the background too.  :D
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • That's right when the girl was being verbally abusive to me I could hear what sounded like a big warehouse full of them in the background, I suppose that they only need to strike lucky once a day and it pays their wages.

Yet another email today, supposedly from the NHS, asking me to apply for a COVID pass, providing a link for victims to supply personal as well as bank and card details .

I think most people know that's a scam and it should be reported: https://www.actionfraud.police.uk/reporting-fraud-and-cyber-crime

    But just in case..
