    Itā€™s been a few weeks. You can go online through nhs app or phone 911. Then you can collect 2 tests. Maybe your pharmacy isnā€™t bothering as itā€™s not strict itā€™s just a way of guaranteeing we get paid.Ā

    Thanks @debs64 ... could it be that as the local BootsĀ  manages my prescriptions they already have my NHS number?

    I've also picked up kits without being asked for a code when on holiday in Cornwall and when in Southwold down in Suffolk, but that was in late September and late October.Ā Ā

    Itā€™s not an nhs number itā€™s a long code we use to prove the test has genuinely been given. Maybe not all pharmacies are botheringĀ

    I got a box of them online - managed the app thingy (this was last week). They were posted out - got them the next day. One of those things where when it works, it's great but a small glitch turns it into a major headache, I suppose.

    I have just ordered a pack of test kits, it took 4 minutes from start to finish, Ā I donā€™t have nhs numbers or apps . Ā Just straight forward ordering, they sent a code by email which I copied and pasted, Ā done. Ā  You have the option to create an account or continue without. Ā  Test will be here tomorrow.

    When I picked up my kits, I was asked my name and address and reason for asking for them. I think I also signed the form.

    When you get to this bit just continue without account, itā€™s straight forward from there, fill in name and address and get the email code.

    I've just order a pack of test kits on-line.Ā  Took no more than about 3 minutes from start to finish.Ā  No account set up.

    I'm fed up with foodies sneering at this culinary delight and, by the way, I'm partial to prawn cocktail too
