    Enjoy @Pat E

Got R2 on at the moment cos I’m fed up with finding things to throw at Boffle et al on the news … but how can Tony Blackburn never have heard of Oswaldtwistle? šŸ™„
it’s less than 4 miles from Blackburn … is that a hole in Blackburn … Lancashire geography? 🤪

Yum! Ā That was good Dove. Perhaps a little more salt than I’m used to (from the feta), but there’s still half left for tomorrow. Ā  The feta was from Aldi as diced into quarter inch cubes, but I’m not complaining. Good combination of flavours. Ā Aldi also had little bags of baby capsicums, so he sliced some of the red ones.Ā

  • I was wary of the salt in the feta @Pat E so I didn’t add any to the egg mixture. Glad you liked it tho. Looks good 😊

    Good morning all.

There seems to be a lot that Possum doesn’t like to eat @Obelixx. Does she have different meals to you? Does she eat enough?Ā
My daughter is back in hospital. She rang when we were in the pub restaurant yesterday in a bit of a state. She was waiting for her OH to come and take her to hospital. I felt sorry for my OH. He ate his meal alone while I was outside on the phone. My meal was cold.

OH is going for his flu jab this morning.

  • Oh dear @Busy-Lizzie ... I'm so sorry to hear that, but I had worried that she was rushing things ... it takes more than a few days medication to build enough stability and resilience in order to be able to cope with what she's been going through ... it sounds to me as if a programme of really good therapy would be helpful.Ā  Many hugs to you all.Ā  xx

Busy_, Lizzie, lots of love and support! I also thought she was leaving Hospital quickly. Obelixx, how old is Possum?

Hello Forkers.Ā  Bright and sunny here again but a chilly night with a frost.Ā  Didn't get the dahlias tho.

After my flu jab yesterday I felt cold and tired all day so slept for 2 hours in the pm.Ā  No arm ache tho so win some lose some.

Possum phoned in raptures last ight about a vegetarian dinner she and her pal had eaten in Edinburgh.Ā  Ā Said she'd never tasted anything like it!Ā  Humph!Ā  Having told me she only likes cauliflower raw it seems she'll now eat it in soup with coconut.Ā  She was brought up to eat a wide variety of foods and cuisines but has got picky since living on her own and having less adventurous Belgian friends.Ā  Not any more!

I should be sewing this pm but hate to waste the sunshine so will probably go and weed and get some more bulbs planted.Ā  Is it too early for tulips if I plant them deep?

Hope you feel better soon @punkdoc.Ā  Ā Hugs to all who need them.Ā  Ā Worrying for you @Busy-Lizzie.Ā  I do hope she gets what she needs for herself and her children.

Daughter rang this morning, she didn't stay in hospital but they changed her medication and she feels much better, though they still want a divorce.

It's our village Bonfire, fireworks and hog roast tonight. The village hall is shared between 2 villages so it's in a big field, quite isolated. Shouldn't upset too many pets.

Cold, grey and windy this morning. I went for a walk but decided to cut it short.

  • Some of the meds can have some unpleasant side-effectsĀ  ... hopefully the new one will suit her @Busy-Lizzie ... but they all take a while to workĀ  ... also some folk feel so much better after a while on them that they stop taking them and then experience some nasty withdrawal effects .... maybe suggest that she treats herself gently ... is she accessing any therapy?
