Something like this @Nanny Beach which either has the sauce underneath the sponge, or inside so that when you cut into it it oozes out.

  • Evening all, a nice dry bright day here.  We were busy earlier doing Sunday lunch for the GCs  as their ma & pa are having a long weekend away,  not sure why but OH had agreed to deliver it to them rather than have them come here.
I think I said before our Acers turned a while ago. This one is acid green in summer.  It's dropped quite a lot of leaves already.

I used to make those lovely lemon or chocolate cakes where you pour the sauce on the top of the cake mixture and it sinks to the bottom when it’s cooked.
I've just made a cake with raspberries mixed in,  by this time of the year we’re getting fed up with them.

That's good news @punkdoc, let's hope you are on the road to recovery. Has your voice come back?

I've had a quiet day, watched TV, went to the community pub for a cider with OH. Probably suffering from lack of exercise and the emotional stress of last week. Get up and go has disappeared.

Does it sound like a little mouse Punkdoc? 😁

it’s steamy and hot here today and I’m not used to that at all. After 13 years in Darwin, you’d think it wouldn’t worry me, but getting older and in a colder climate, must be affecting me.  Not happy.  🥵
