Cox has been doing the job for many years, he’s also been our local MP for as long as I can remember, This comes up every so often, I dare say there’s a local election looming.

Morning all, hello Hosta, you just beat me,I stopped to make the tea. Went to bed early,so up early Weather seems quiet, too dark to see much. Knitted 3 purple poppies, got some nice black sparkly shank buttons for the middles. Posting them off to friends today. Hope things are improving for Punkdoc and anyone else in bother.Your'e not alone Ergates,I can't bear the taste of any spirits. Then people tell me that's what the water or mixers are for, what so you can't taste them!
Grey and dismal with some spits but no real raindrops. Just enough to mess up the clean windows. No cycling. Plenty to read and trying to finish a jersey. (knitting)
I watched GMB this morning re the required Covid jab (among other topics). We have the same problem here - and yes, some will forego the jab and forego the job. Tradesmen and all public workers have to be vaccinated. Full stop. And that, for me, is THE choice.
First broccoli to be consumed today. I sowed the seed in July and planted out in August. In fact, everything has come on at once even though I staggered the sowing and planting. I have a weird "sprouting" cauliflower with about 7 small heads on it! That is destined for cauliflower cheese later in the week.
Remembrance Day tomorrow. We have a parade and placing of the wreath ceremony here. Poppies is not de rigeur, but I get my English friends to bring some over and over the years, I have given them to pupils to show the class just how it it done. Bank holiday but these days, everything except banks and civil services are open.
Hmmm ... we may be without t'internet for some of tomorrow ... tv also ... work to improve the speed in our area is being done .... 11/11 I would've liked to watch the Remembrance Day Parade ... always used to watch it with Pa after he got too frail to attend the local parade ... I'll have to watch on iPlayer later.

Afternoon all. My dance card is filling up fast, two vaccination invites today for flu and Covid. It will make a change from painting the kitchen I suppose

that’s good to know @punkdoc … as we know, viruses are a right PITA. Keep resting and in the warm.
