Good morning.  Bright and sunny but very cold.  Disturbed night here with  things going bump.  Cloth ears OH heard nothing of course and slept thru so I went to investigate.

Homeless ginger cat in my sewing room upstairs.   I went back down to open the back door so he could get out and then went and gently encouraged him downstairs.   Assumed he'd gone but found him under the stairs this morning, curled up behind OH's golf bag.   Refused my offer of a bowl of biscuits and di not go out thru the opened door.

Merry dance up and downstairs, in and out of our bedroom and bathroom downstairs and no idea why he stayed as no sign of injury and he knows we have 2 dogs and 2 cats.  Gorgeous cat tho so hope he comes again when in need.

Busy day for me today - patch this pm followed by mosaic class followed by a re-arranged dance class cos one fell on a public holiday.  I'm going to be cream-crackered.
Possum gets back from Edinburgh this afternoon and will no doubt have tales to tell when I get home late.....

Hope you get your energy back @Busy-Lizzie.  Patience @punkdoc.  Gorgeous poppy @Pat E.

Lovely colours, that is called cloud iridescence. Similar to other diffraction effects like rainbows where light is scattered by water or ice droplets in high clouds.

Tui, I’ve only just looked at the photo again and see what you mean. I’ll never look at it the same way. 😳

  • That's very interesting @steephill ... don't ever think I've seen that before.  :)

Not at all Pat, your rainbow is lovely as are all your cloud formations. Like you we have "a lot of sky"!

Back in bed since lunch time, feeling a lot worse again.
This is truly a horrible virus.
