If only mine looked like that, I'm deeply envious.

They have an interesting collection, with many new additions. Bringing science into breeding... The Last paragraph about fragrant roses (on Pg 145) made my day...

I was hoping to pad out my MW next year with another one or two so hopefully I can find it somewhere.

I think my TW potted is on its way, had a notification saying 1 item is on route.

Noticed my new rose pots are looking really dry, at least on the surface. I'm not sure it has rained at all this year🤔 I still haven't got full buttage even though I've been shifting water around from my faster-fillers...

@Victoria Sponge - you could take some cuttings to get some more MW then plant them in a group later on next year.

  • Yes, good idea, @Mr. Vine Eye thank you. I will look up how to do that, or maybe I can use the trimmings from when I prune.

@Victoria Sponge - yep that’s a good time to do it. Try to get some 20-25cm lengths - pop them into pots of free draining soil and leave them somewhere shaded and sheltered until next soring, or potentially later this year if they root well and need potting on.

We've all got Covid here at the moment. Came from son's school, where the whole class had to close as over 80% of the children tested positive over the weekend and start of last week. I had to come home from work feeling unwell yesterday, but then oddly started feeling better and felt like a faker!

Anyway I've had a positive lateral flow this morning so at least I know I wasn't imagining it.

All ok though. Just stuck. Maybe I'll do some gardening!

@Mr. Vine Eye, I wish you and your family go through it without much symptoms.

Gardening sounds good @Mr. Vine Eye, hope you all recover soon.

Trevor White roses are arriving today so that will be interesting to see what they're like.
