I think I've decided to get a GdF and keep her in a pot until I can remake a bed for her... Maybe plant her out in the autumn...

Talking of rainwater collection, I picked up another 210 L butt today from the middle isle of your local German supermarket chain.
Good price, get 'em while they last.

In pots we water more, so more of hard water.. not sure if I have noticed any chlorosis.. probably because most of them are 1-2 year olds.. On the topic of pots, I have noticed that the Terrcotta ones dry out much faster than the plastic pots..

I noticed chlorosis on Crimson Glory/Guinee last year (they intertwine over my big arch). I will keep an eye on it. They are planted in the ground so should be fine over winter, now they are established. I will watch to see if the touch of yellow comes back over the summer.

So many of my roses are planted far too close together.
