  • @Omori ive never seen Corvedale before, thats gorgeous! I love a cupped bloom!

Anyone brought any sort of rose supports other than arch/ rounded obelisks for climbers they can show? I have a fair few hybrid teas and they do have a habit of getting very enthusiastically tall. Rosa des cistertiens has delusions of climbing!  Looking at open top obelisk maybe to provide a frame to flop round....

.. I have all sorts of supports, some makeshift... most I got from garden centres, and some online..  I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for but I also have green metal spikes of various lengths and thickness that just push into the ground, I find these useful as they disappear amongst the foliage..

  • @Marlorena basically something better than the bamboo garden canes! Ill try some of the green spikes, I think I know which you mean, Id forgotten those. I was looking at more structured square collumn supports too, but then I dont want too much black metal!
  • Can someone in the Rose Community give Dorcascents a hand here please … we’re just loading the car to go on holiday
