@Marlorena the growth is not the kind (thick cane ones) you see in summer deliveries, so I guess even bare roots would be in similar.. but the roots are holding the compost well, unlike other deliveries where the potted ones are essentially bareroots with compost..

I think mine will be tomorrow or monday! Can’t actually remember if hermes deliver on a saturday!
  • I didn't realise the new DA came bare root as well, the potted look very exciting @cooldoc hope you are pleased with them.

I received my latest (and last til winter) bare root delivery from TW unexpectedly today.

L-R Captaine John Ingram and I've become a member of the Pheno Geno test club with Hallie centre, which I'm going to call Draga. I tried searching the forum to see if anyone already had one for a sneak preview but I just got something about, I think, crab apples. Triomphe des Noisettes on the right, a rose I've never noticed before when searching. The last two were unplanned purchases but CJI I wanted to cram in between my new Francesca and Blush Noisette, as hopefully a colour buffer.

  • They look very good, @Victoria Sponge. From the Pheno Geno collection I was attracted the most by Hallie/Draga. I’m looking forward to seeing photos of it.
  • Thanks @pitter-patter, I will be sure to post updates. I thought I found a space in the garden for it this evening but am not 100% sure it really is a space so will pot it up for its first year🙂

@Victoria Sponge I was eyeing Draga but held out as I wanted to know about the scent.. despite being from Frayla collection, TW did not give a strong rating to it.. so will wait your review..

The noisette one is interesting.. not many photos in HMF as well.. a dark colour and individual rather than cluster blooms (in HMF) for a noisette...

    Hermes

  • @cooldoc, I will let you know re scent, yes TW rated it only medium. I don't have a scented red so am looking forward to testing it🙂

I couldn't find much on TdN either, I was in a reckless experimental mood when buying these two! My sensible choice for the space it is going in was Strawberry Hill but I'm committed now😉
