Punkdoc, do you have a powerful torch to take to the bedroom with you? Useful to shine out through the windows if you hear anything suspicious overnight.

Evening. Sorry, late to the chat today. Thank you Dove for starting us off this September.

We had cardigans on in the office today in case we needed reminding that Autumn is coming. I have spied a couple of warm days forecast next week though.

I hope everyone is doing ok.

My garden and I live in South Wales.

Morning everyone. We’ve a sunny day today, but windy, so the washing should be out and back inside in short order .👏. Rain predicted on Saturday. All good. We can always use more rain.

    Good morning!

Very mild this morning, no wind.  Rain forecast which isn't unusual during grape harvest!!

    Have an enjoyable day everyone.

  • Good morning all 😊 ☕️
Overcast here but at least it’s dry(ish). OH has just arrived back from a cycle-dash to Wrose … he’s at home today and we both have things to do in the studio 😊

  • Morning @Dovefromabove , @tui34 @Pat E... hope all well . This grey weather is really getting me down, am hoping the promised ( relative)  warmth and dry weather for next week do in fact materialise. Thoughts and best wishes with @punkdoc and @Hostafan1

Morning Desi. We are ok. Have been staying at home.. we need to go to tow n tomorrow, but because we’ve had the vaccine, and if we keep our distance, we should be ok. 😁

    Hi all

Quiet, but sleepless night, did a bit of garden prowling with a bright torch, whilst pretending to talk to someone on my mobile.

Moira is coming home today and taking @Dovefromabove advice and her own love of dogs, we are borrowing Ernie, a German Shepherd for a few days, from one of her friends. Moira already walks Ernie regularly, so hopefully he will fit in.

Thanks to all for your advice, and thanks to @WonkyWomble for generally cheering me up yesterday.

Glad you had an uneventful night, Punkdoc, even if you didn’t get much sleep. Having a German Shepherd to stay sounds like a wonderful solution, security detail plus fun! Being of a suspicious mind, I’d make sure he is always accompanied in the garden, plus checks for anything odd, like steaks being tossed over the fence. Probably daft, but your ex NDN does sound like a psychopath.
