I love that Northern Jo!! We took my friend into town for her booster,at the shopping mall, ironically I had an airer delivered to Robert Dyas in the mall. Hubby was starving, big queue at the vax hub,he went into Greigs, got a sausage roll, said everyone else was buying them. Have seen rave reviews for them in the papers. He just recently eaten the last ones I made,(and froze) he said it was disgusting and tasteless! Told him he'd been spoilt by my homemade stuff!!

Oh my God!!!!!!!  Panic buying of Greggs sausage rolls.  Wait until the media get wind of this.  Far, far worse than no petrol. :D  I was reading an article about a French national who wondered what all the fuss was about and tried one.  To say they were underwhelmed is something of an understatement.

Infuriating. Obviously completely inaccurate and downplays the risks posed by predators like Cousens, but also, so utterly insensitive of her to hijack the circumstances for her misguided 'cause' when Sarah Everard's family and friends are going through the worst imaginable grief.

Unfortunately there’s quite a few around like that @Fairygirl,  don’t know when to shut up, and that Corbin, how come he’s still alive,  all these protests he’s organised and he's still around.
Pervs will kill women whenever they take the urge,  he’s done things before and he would have done it again lockdown or not.

It's vile beyond belief @CharlotteF. I defy anyone to listen to the speech that poor girl's mother made and not be in floods of tears.

At least my sister got to be there, and hold her dead child. What that family is having to deal with, and will have to deal with every day for the rest of their lives,  is beyond hideous.

I don't know how you'd even begin to deal with it. The lady from the campaign group on the TV news said earlier "Every single one of us would have got in the car. This is not on Sarah". You want to believe that you can protect yourself, but honestly before all this, as a law abiding person confronted by a plausible policeman, I wouldn't have tried to run away. And even if Sarah had shouted to passers by, he'd have shown his warrant card and people would assume she was resisting arrest - no one, before now, would have intervened. So where does that leave us all - where does it leave the police? Giving out advice that if you're not sure about the policeman arresting you, you should run away.  :o It's frightening, bewildering and heart breaking.

And then a TV celeb pops up and makes it all so much worse
