  • You know you're a cyclist when people talking about led lighting not lasting and you take several posts to realise they're not talking about bike lights!

I nearly posted to ask what you're doing to them because I've cycle commuted for best part of 8 years with the same bike light with no issues at all.

It must be the quality of the LEDs used I spose. Bike lights are probably better,  usually cree led chips in sealed units. Home LEDs don't seem sealed at all to me.

The world must be a wonderful place for readers of the Daily Express. You only need to read the headlines to see what a great job this government is doing.😁

Although we are permanently just a few days away from a terrible flood/heatwave/blizzard/drought. I imagine they'll have started on the 'forecasters predict it'll be the WORST WINTER since 1963' headlines by now

  • Isn’t it against them law to obstruct the Highway?

When we used to arrange street fairs etc in our tiny village all sorts of permissions had to be obtained.

So yet another " easy post Brexit trade deal" this time with the USA isn't happening after all?
I hope Brexit voters are thrilled with all the "opportunities" being realised.? ( maybe they could give us one concrete benefit from leaving? )

  • We get to hear even more whinging, moaning, goading, gloating and droning on about politics on various unrelated forums. Always a delight to have more of that!  ;)

I've adopted your 'handy ignore button' recommendation on a few posters recently @Hostafan1.
It's made several threads much more pleasant to be part of  again.. ;)
