    Funny that it was just the one brand and one flavour of it that was affected. He did try a supermarket own brand at about a quarter of the price, but wasn't impressed. Tough luck I say!! :D

    It's interesting to note how many 'different ' brands are affected when a processed food is withdrawn for health reasons

     I don't eat meat or drink carbonated drinks,so,so far,.......

    Our Waitrose had no loo roll on Tuesday, totally empty shelves. Even during lockdown panic buying there was always something available. In our house at least loo roll counts as an essential item. They have lots of signs around the store on empty shelves apologising and ask for forebearance about shortages.

    I always thought the Daily Record [a popular source up here of all things of a serious journalistic nature ] was really just for using in place of bog roll. I believe The Sun also qualifies there...
     
    Maybe that would be a cheaper alternative if stocks run low.... ;)
