Cool and grey here.  Torrid night with cramps and stupid knee so slept in till 9 which meant the chooks were busting to get out when I went to open their door.  Hens done, birds fed, cats fed, dogs have had their arthritis meds and Dentastix, washload on so now I can enjoy my cuppa.

@Nanny Beach the one we brought is a Bosch.  We've always bough Bosch as you can adjust the height of the top rack for our taller wine glasses and always does a good wash.  The one that came with the the new kitchen is Electrolux and not as good IMHO.

@D0rdogne_Damsel I always make a Borrowdale tea bread for when we have workmen here.  We've had Ukrainians, Poles and French and they love it.   Goes down a treat.   The Poles and Ukrainians said it reminded them of their mum's baking but the French haven't met a fruit cake before.

Another grey day here ☁️☁️☁️. Would be nice to see some sunshine.

Pilates in the park this morning, followed by a trip to Hobbycraft to try and colour match some embroidery threads.  Normally get them all online, but don’t have the colour codes……and matching needs to be a face to face exercise 🌈

All my salvia cuttings have survived the first few days without wilting …..always the trickiest bit for me.  Lots of Amistad for next year, but also some Black and Blue, which is new to me this year and is the most amazing colour 💙

    Good morning all.

    That’s gorgeous @chicky. I haven’t seen it before.

We will have a quiet day, a bit of gardening, a bit of HW, watch some TV.

@chicky Black and blue gets tall! Grew it for 3 years but it out grew its spot so I donated it to a friend that has a larger garden so I can still visit it 😉 it's such an electric blue isn't it!

Only two more weeks till a new Hobbycraft store opens in Exeter. Can’t wait, our nearest store was on the outskirts of Bristol, so only visited if we were in the area. Now I will be able to drop in frequently and browse.

Hah, obelixx,he said I bet it's a Bosch! I don't put wine glasses in mine. They have patterns and coloured stems. Only cheap tumblers go in there. Mind you,we recently bought our second Bosch mower,it's nowhere near as good as the last one,and guess what "made in China"

Our first was a Bosch @Nanny Beach and bought because the reviews said it had a "wool" wash for crystal glasses.  Ours were wedding presents and we like the thin, uncut crystal but always broke one when hand washing and drying them.  They are fine but OH's Belgian beer glasses have to be hand-washed or they lose their motifs and gold bands - different model for every beer.
