No pasta @Obelixx, it has gluten. I have a cauliflower, a butternut squash, some sweet peppers, sugar snap peas, carrots and a bunch of celery so I'm sure I can manage something, but I still want to see what Morrisons have on their special diet shelves.

Just a suggestion @Busy-Lizzie  If your niece is vegan, she won't eat any food that has contained a living thing i.e.  if you are cooking the prawns in the vegetable curry that you are making for her, she won't just eat/pick out the veggies.  Best to cook the prawns apart to avoid any "difficult" moments.

@floralies  I have taken cuttings from the deep burgundy salvia, but they grew red.  Maybe it's my soil.

@D0rdogne_Damsel   Not a good time to bow out - only a couple of weeks left and the season will die off.  Hope you can hold out.

PS  And gluten-free pasta too.  It is good (here in France, I get it from Auchan).  You wouldn't know the difference.  Penne or spaghetti.

I've seen it in Leclerc and Super U.  Bought it for the impending visit of a friend of Possum who then caught an infection after wisdom teeth removal and didn't come.  Haven't tried it yet.  The sweet potato spaghetti came from a Thai shop in Namur and has yet to be tried.

I have just taken 7 salvia Amistad cuttings. They say you should do it first thing in the morning,  but considering how damp it is I don't think it will matter.

Back from lunch with our friends.

@Obelixx and @tui34, thank you. I have bought gluten free pasta and vegan dairy free pesto. There was also suitable avocado dip and humous.

Good choice @Busy-Lizzie   You'll have a nice vegan meal.  We do quite often as we love Indian food, so it's easy to eat vegan.  One of my brothers is vegan, (I couldn't) but he eats well and is, at 60 - as fit as a buck rat!!

Niece has just rung, she's been with a father and his small daughter who now have Covid, so she isn't coming. I can't be in contact with anyone who is at risk just before I go back to France. Bother.

Oh what a shame @Busy-Lizzie … it sounds as if it would’ve been a lovely visit …  but better safe than sorry 🤗
