Thanks Silvi.    Still waiting to see if any of the washing gets dry before the daylight ends

    Good morning all and hello @Pat E 😊 ☕️
We have sunshine ☀️ it looks lovely out there, but the app tells us that it’ll be raining within an hour and it’s going to be damp today and possibly tomorrow and then we’re in for a dry spell.

A garden outing with a group of forum friends is planned for Wednesday 😎 and then we’re heading to MIL’s for a few days as a dry spell means it’s an opportunity for OH to paint her new garden shed.

We have lateral flow test kits … a little bit of ‘life’ is returning 😃

    Morning all.
    Cloudy here.
That's funny, I'm going on a garden outing on Wednesday with forum friends too!

We really enjoy going to stay with MIL @Pat E .. she is a lovely person and very easy to get on with … she lives by an old church in a small village in a beautiful old stone cottage with beams and a big inglenook fireplace. Just down the road is a nature reserve of undrained marshy fenland where rare wild cranes have recently taken up residence  … a lovely peaceful place to be.

    Good morning @Dovefromabove, @Busy-Lizzie and @Nanny Beach, Good evening @Pat E
Absolutely tipping it down here! Due to all day, I was supposed to be introducing my back to the idea of working again but not sure now!!
Thanks to @Obelixx for recommending the Alexander technique 👌 I've watched some videos and followed some initial steps of retraining myself to move in a better way for my back.  Thanks again!

Best wishes to @Desi_in_London, I hope things get easier for you,  we're are always he for a grumble if you feel the urge 😊

Thank goodness the Olympics is over,  I can get local weather forecast now!!

Big praise for my lovely hubby,  I washed my car keys yesterday,  realised mid cycle,  rescued them,  hubby took them apart,  put in bag of rice overnight,  new battery and working good as new and very clean when I got up this morning,  what a hero! Considering I only have one key to my car,  I was a tad anxious 😟😰

Hope everyone had a lovely day,  second coffee needed here!
