  • Chive it’s good you caught up with mum and sister and hope you have rested.   Alfie’s sprawled on the bed.  He was up late last night until the early hours.  LB you’ll be waiting for your clemmie to be in full bloom.  They are lovely.

Evening all. Some nice photos Rubee (very similar clematis to mine - looks great there) and LB (I may covert that yellow clematis - very pretty).

We actually came down yesterday. Nice easy journey and it was very warm so a dip in the pool was most welcome.

This morning we went to Knole (very interesting) & popped to M&S for some food. Since we came back it's got windier and windier and the cloud cover has gone from welcome respite to downright overcast. Now feels rather cool and OH and I are wearing more clothes than we have for days.

Music starts tonight so hopefully the dancing will warm us up!

Site is now very full but everyone's in a party mood so it's a happy place.

Thoughts are with Yvie - what a carp day for you yesterday. Hope things work out.

RosieBB, I reckon another day and the buds on the top of my clemmie will be open (fingers crossed).
T'Bird, great to hear that you had an easy run down. I really miss the quiet days on the road when everyone was having to stay at home except for essentials. Driving was joyous then. Hope that you have a lovely, cheery night tonight.
It has gone noticeably cooler here and the wind has risen. I've done my watering and am waiting for the Tatton programme and then GW. Not a great deal worth watching (well for me anyway) on TV tonight.

I hope that everyone has a super day today. I was very sorry to hear that your son has reacted badly to his second vaccine and you are going to miss seeing the family today Hazel. Maybe this time next week you may get to see them all, especially 23. Its a mere 15°C here outside at the moment and the sky is very overcast, perhaps I may get some of the wet stuff today. Apparently its been raining in Japan!
