Its absolutely schorchio here, even in the shade 🥵🥵
Have been out and bought extra bits from w'rose. Bought another bottle of cordial too.
It all sounds very organized @Topbird Good idea with wristbands. That's a lot of people for me, I'm happy with both our boys and their children, that's enough people for me.  I'm like @Busy-Lizzie not happy in a SM yet.
Glad all went well at the dentist @Songbird-1
That's a long time to wait for your rubbish to be collected. Hopefully it will return to normal soon.
Hi @Pauline 7  good to see you

Hello all ...  :)  I must say I'm getting confused having read back ... but then that's nothing new ... hazel or bamboo ?... 🤣

Lots of watering done here this morning ... we missed out on the rain that lots of places in Norfolk and Suffolk had last night.  ..fortunately we also missed out on the 'hailstones the size of broad beans' reported by the local newspaper ... would that be lovely tender little broad beans, or the big floury ones my late Ma used to feed to us?

Enjoy the music Topbird ... sounds a well organised event  :)

It was about a dozen Cyrils apprehended last night @Busy-Lizzie. I only looked around the edibles that I'm keenest on. They can do what they want elsewhere for the time being. It may be wishful thinking but I reckon that I'm seeing less damage now :)

Managed a 45-minute plod in the scorchio sun this morning. I must be mad ;) Going to be another quiet afternoon and maybe an hour two gardening later on.

I do go to SMs @star gaze lily, just keep my distance, wear a mask and feel cross with people who don't! I bought some broad beans yesterday, had them last night but they were more like @Dovefromabove's late Ma's  :/

Am I allowed to mention what I've been doing? It involved a bucket of soapy water and outside paintwork, could add gutters (the low ones on the extension) too.

Good to see you @Dovefromabove. I'm not a fan of broad beans because I was dragged up on the big floury ones. Don't like butter beans for the same reason which we were served by the can full. Having butter beans beautifully cooked in a tomato & herb sauce in Greece was a bit of a revelation.

To explain a bit of the confusion. Songbird-1 used to be Hazel and we sometimes still call her that on Rezzers. I do it because it's quicker to write and I'm dead lazy but I wasn't doing it this morning. Clear as mud now?🤪

Afternoon all. I understood your post straight away T'Bird having always had a yearning for hazel hurdles and didn't really get the confusion but now that THAT has been explained to me I've got it!
Hazel I'm glad that finally your tooth is sorted - its certainly taken long enough.
Hello Pauline, long time no see. Hope you are keeping well.
T'Bird, your music festival sounds very well organised and I love the idea of people dancing to their own beat. That would look brilliant on TikTok.
I'm very much a baby broad bean fan - not the monsters and peas can be similar. Love the fresh young peas but if they are left too long and the pod goes that weird opaque colour then I am not very keen.
Busy, you did very well with your oblique description of what you have been doing 👏🏽
Sis tells me it is 37°C in the South of France. I would have had to stand in the Med until late evening at that rate.

Hehe I understood @Topbird post......I wasn't sure what @Songbird-1 meant. So when Topbird said she didn't understand Hazels last post, I said I didn't either

    More confused 🤔🤷🏻‍♀️😂
