My daily collection of sungold tomatoes, they are really good (well compared to any other tomatoes I've ever tasted). Also my 1st real picking of gardeners delight, they are rather bland.

Am most confused as I definitely had blight and am still removing some blighted fruit but it seems to have petered out. I did strip all the leaves and removed about a bucket of blighted fruit leaving only stems and fruit currently all is going ok. Marmande haven't been bothered in anyway at all

@Wilderbeast I too have removed all the blighted stems and leaves. This seems to have arrested the progression of the disease in some plants, may be they are blight resistant. I'm picking a bowl full of tomatoes daily.

So jealous @Wilderbeast , but this year hasn't been the right weather for me to grow them.🙁
Today I hit last year's picking of 300 tomatoes ( probably because I planted more cherry toms this year) and yes I do count.😊 I like to know that all my hard work has covered the cost of producing ( that's the miser in me😊) and I have yet to pick most of the Roma.
The cucumbers are doing well, 44 to date ( yes I know not as many as Pete8 gets 😆) but enough for me.
From four plants in the greenhouse that have made normal size and two Beth Alpha outside, which have remained dwarf in stature. 🤔 Might be nice for someone with a small space.

Looks like someone will be making soup there @Wilderbeast😁
When I tried it was from seed. They were a mini variety , grew to about 2ft, had lots of flowers, but never set any fruit.

@purplerallim tomatoes were skinned, deseeded and cooked down for about 3 hours to make passata of sorts. I wasn't confident I'd get aubergines to grow from seed hence the grafted plants, I have had rather limited success with seeds sown in trays or pots. Veggies sown straight in the ground were much simpler and apart from 1 patch of carrots have all germinated

It's so hit and miss with seeds @Wilderbeast . This year, like usual,  I planted extra seed of the cucumbers and tomatoes , ready for any failure,  and they didn't fail.🥴

@Wilderbeast nice haul there of aubergines and tomatoes. I grew aubergine plants from seed this year, quite a few flowers but no fruit has set so far.
