Bishop's crown chillies and Padron peppers.

Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth :)

  • I am nearing the end of my tomatoes,  but unlike some people's,  this years crop has been good. I did get blight earlier this month, but I took out the bad plant, cut back all leaves that even looked to have it, and opened up the rest by removing more leaves, it seemed to hold it back and the rest have survived till the end of the season. Consequently from 1 Peardrop, 1 Tigerella, 5 Roma  6 Sunchocola, and 4 Golden sunrise plants I picked 700 tomatoes,  200 more than last year. ( I do keep count as I tot up the cost/ production each year)😁
Maybe this was a good year to do this as prices are about to rise, if they are even on the shelves.

    All mighty impressive, everyone!

Here's my pitiful beetroot harvest (they might look better in this closeup photo, but only filled 1/3rd of a punnet pack). I did manage to use the leaves as a stirfry.
