I'm well into the leeks now, there very tasty if not huge. A couple have bolted so I'm hoping that we don't get many more. All the borlotti beans were picked a fortnight since, it wasn't the biggest harvest but they were very cheap to grow. The parsnips are fantastic next door were given 1 yesterday and weighed it 1.2 kg me thinks that's good. 2nd beetroot, spinach and turnip's continue to provide steady pickings

My fig tree is coming out!  Never had a fig on it, it must be 7 years old.  I planted it in the GH eventually as it never grew outside,   The only thing it’s been good for is shading the tomato plants.  Huge tree now but no fruit.  Tomatoes from GH today, and still 20 more San Marzano to come.
Parsnips are showing, just waiting for the frost to get to them, have had a few though, can’t wait.   3 lots of onions plaited.  Last pepper. They’ve been good this year.

  • A gamble on a late sown half row of dwarf French beans,  has yeided a worthwhile late crop, the green broccoli is having a resurgence too. Still a few tomatoes and peppers from the greenhouse,  beetroot are a reliable good doer.
    AB Still learning

  • Possibly the last of the cucamelons but still continue to pick spinach, leeks and beetroot.

The tomato plants moved to the front garden 2 months ago, at the onset of blight, have survived for this long. They have now been cleared and green tomatoes harvested.

  • @Eustace you have continued to harvest so many many tomatoes and for me so late.
    You do have "green fingers".
    Great harvest again.

Getting a bit chilli 😂 outside so we’ve picked the last of the Hungarian Blacks.
Great chillies, full of chilli flavour but not ‘burny ’ so fine for those who love chillies but whose innards aren’t so keen … will grow these again. 😎

Thanks @bertrand-mabel. This year the tomatoes were good in spite of the early blight.
Here are a few chillies and grapes that were picked yesterday.

Pulled the last of my carrots,  so I can put the bed to sleep for the winter. No show lookers but a good 2kg from the second/third sowing
